MARLTON — Carlo's Bakery, the setting of the hit TLC TV series "Cake Boss," has announced it will open a new location in Marlton Square Specialty Center.

Carlo's currently has six other locations, its flagship bakery in Hoboken, with other locations in Ridgewood, Westfield, Red Bank, Morristown, and its recently opened store in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"Marlton is such a great community, I knew it would be a perfect fit for the bakery," said Buddy Valastro, owner of Carlo's Bakery, in a press release. "It's very exciting to be able to  expand into Southern New Jersey. New Jersey is where it all began."

Carlo's Bakery Marlton will be the sixth location in the Garden State. The bakery, located at 300 Route 73 South Marlton, is expected to open later this year.

Opened in 1910, Carlo's Bakery is renowned for its creations, hardworking staff, and family atmosphere. Carlo's has spearheaded the recent custom cake craze and has garnered attention from a variety of media outlets including Brides, "Rachael Ray Show, Huffington Post and "Good Morning America."

Carlo's has been showcased as the setting for TLC's hit shows "Cake Boss" and "Next Great Baker."

Most recently, Carlo's has partnered with Norwegian Cruise Line to include a Carlo's Bakery location on-board all of their ships.
